dear blog... my oh my have i missed you. feeling like a professional tinkerer

these days, i have stepped away from you for some time in an effort to cultivate 

deeper focus. 

i just love these one eyed women ~ so powerfully presenting the essence of their culture,

color and adornment.  all with individuation and panache.

joe's jeans has a mind bending collection of colored skinny jeans.

55 colors to be precise. i think a hearty pop of color makes the monochrome 

of winter far more fascinating. i'm a colorist at heart, so i smile at this selection.

 personally i could wear skinny jeans every day, and by the way,

when these little babies are no longer on trend, i'm gonna still be waving 

this flag. as long as the fit is right, there is nothing distracting about this

kind of garment, comfort, utility, and high style ~ ching, ching, ching.

so here we have a nod to the mumu, that deconstructed little genius that kids and crones choose adoringly. i am fond of the simple color selection, the way the knees become a focal piece, and how these mumus kind of pronounce "i don't care what the rules are... i'm gonna be comfortable and still be sophisticated - sublime even."
