here we have THE SAMURAI WEEKENDER, an incredibly roomy travel companion.
the
samurai is grounded in the values of gorgeous design, simple shapes,
and the power of function, which are stitched into every seam. in
designing this piece i have paid attention to what is needed, what is wanted, which
leaves you with a sensuously modern collectible that is at the core, timeless and beyond. as always, i have translated the unassuming vintage leather coat into a downright inimitable work of utilitarian art.

i have been flexing the heck out of my creative muscles over here lately.
it had been a bit since i have posted any recent work, but rest assured, my work has been my muse, and i feel at times like a one woman industry, with my fingerprints all over every single step of the process. i hope you find yourself inspired by the tinkering of my hands.
after pawing the ground for some time, and at the risk of sounding like i have attention deficit disorder, i have changed the name of my brand, and am delighted to introduce the namesake collection, SITALISA MARIE.
i have invested in a kingsley stamping machine which allows me to imprint my brand in gold, or silver, or emboss the lettering deep into the surface of the leather. i am 100% fascinated with this contraption and let me just say, it really classes up the aesthetic of my labels, HUGELY!!!!
i am so grateful to have begun learning some tricks of the trade from Willy Brewer. Willy is 70 and began working with leather at the formative age of 11. So far he has taught me how to make old fashioned, harness style, copper and brass rivets. this means i am now hammering away on my anvil and wielding an arsenal of new exciting tools.
