Lisa has had a voracious appetite for art and meticulous craft her entire life.
Her innate interest in all things sartorial began as a child when she learned her first hand sewing techniques, at the dining room table, from her Italian grandfather, Orlando Minniti. She pays massive credit to Willy Brewer, a very special mentor who passed the torch of heritage hardware methods, her uncle Alfred Minniti, for his experience in the field and advice, and her own mother, Rosa, for exemplifying the best possible taste in every turn. If you were to ask her father, whom she inherited her iron clad work ethic from, she has been making things fancy since she was a tot. It is from the boon of such rich support that she has taken wing.
In her search for beauty, she has held the creative process in highest esteem. she holds a BA in fine art and painting and is a fervent explorer of hands on making. Her portfolio boasts work across the spectrum of mural painting, card design, jewelry, graphic design, fiber arts, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, clothing design, mosaic, paper making and leather work. In 2012, Lisa decided to saddle up, with a good education and insatiable curiosity, to pursue her ambition of launching SITALISA MARIE.
