THE LAKSHMI BAG

introducing the coveted LAKSHMI BAG, a fine intersection of fashion, craft, and design.
all four shown examples of this bag are the very same design, created from different vintage leather jackets. unified in form and function, yet aesthetically enigmatic due to the original garment they emerged from. i adore this bag for its ability to dress up and down and its design which open like a clam of exceeding capacity - it is unquestionable the epitome of rustic chic. i hand craft each and every piece from a - z, if you have an appreciation for WABI,  (the japanese characteristic of beauty which embraces worn, imperfect, elegance),
then these bags are for you. they in no way have the feeling of a mass produced carry-all, rather, they are saturated in story, crafted from a passion for beauty and proportion, with evidence of the artist's hand in every intricate detail. thank you for taking a moment to view
my work. if you should be interested in procuring a LAKSHMI BAG of your very own, or selecting from my collection of silhouettes, i am delighted to make arrangements for you.

  1. as a proud owner of the bespoke lakshmi bag-- i can attest to its exquisite craftsmanship, thoughtful design, superior quality, personality!, and absolute versatility. luxurious enough to dress up any look-- perhaps draped delicately on the forearm, roomey enough to be filled with work essentials and a change of clothes to go from the office to the yoga studio (thrown over the shoulder), sturdy and functional enough to sling around the body for a bike ride in the warming spring air. my world has been rocked because of the bespoke bagshmi! my favorite accessory companion (as it is so much more than a bag) of all times... perhaps until i invest in my next bespoke bag...
